Microwave oats, milk, and banana on high for 3 minutes (I forgot to add my banana before microwaving in these photos.

Nutrition Beyond The Basics:

The raw cacao nibs provide healthy fats and a unique source of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals like vitamin C, magnesium, and iron (jackpot!). Cacao also contains unique alkaloids like theobromine, anandamine, and tryptophan which work as a team to regulate mood and raise serotonin levels to elevate mood during times of stress. Raw cacao also works with you to moderate blood pressure, heart function, and circulation. Read more about the benefits of cacao here.

Coconut provides you with moderate-length fatty acids which are converted in the body to monounsaturated fats, used for fuel in the body (rather than storage) to keep you energized, sharp, and productive during these crucial productivity hours of the morning!

The banana provides you with potassium and the oatmeal provides a balanced, slow burning source of carbohydrate, fiber and protein to keep you full.

Not only is this breakfast meal sweet and tasty, but it will add nutritional quality to your diet. Have a wonderful morning, sunshine!
