In a pinch for a tasty dressing to top that fresh salad? Organic dressings are expensive and bottled store dressings have an ingredient list longer than your three mile run. This homemade vinaigrette is simple, flavorful, unprocessed and gets along well with all the salads!
Ditch the overpriced processed salad dressings and give this a try – it will take only 5 minutes of your time!
Yields 12 servings at approximately 54 cal/1T serving (lower if omit fruit balsamic)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard (substitute Dijon for added kick)
- 1 tablespoon raw organic honey
- 3 tablespoons peach balsamic vinaigrette (we purchased this at a specialty shop, any fruit balsamic vinaigrette should substitute well or feel free to omit altogether)
- salt and pepper to taste
Add all ingredients to small container, shake well and serve.
Voilà – easy and tasteful, good for you, too!
